William T. Wible Sr. attended Hollidaysburg High School, where he met his future wife, Miriam Krape. She grew up in Lakemont, Altoona, Pa. Her house was located on 413 Leslie Avenue. Miriam and Bill married in 1959, they had their first child William Jr., born on February 18, 1960. William started working for Ward Trucking Company. The two had their first apartment in Fairview, located in Altoona. On June 3, 1961, their second son Alan Wesley, was born. The following year on May 26, 1962, Scott Douglas was born. Finally, the arrival of their baby girl Colleen Joy, born on February 3, 1964. The family moved to a larger home on 633 East Atlantic Ave., Altoona, PA.
Miriam, worked as a waitress when the children were school age. Bill and Miriam divorced after 17 years of marriage. Miriam remarried on Nov. 1976, to Nick Pellegrine. He was remarried on September 11, 2004 to Barbara (Whittaker).
