SADIE HOCKENSMITH
Miss Sarah M. Hockensmith died at the home of her parents, Samual H. Hockensmith and wife, near Laidig, last Thursday evening after a protracted illness. Miss Hockensmith lacked just two days of being 32 years of age. Her funeral took place on Saturday, conducted by Rev. B. A. Salter, of Hustontown,and Interment was made in the little cemetery at the Presbyterian church at Greenhill.
Miss Hockensmith was a young lady of Christian character, and her death will be mourned by a large circle of friends. Besides her parents, she is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Leonard J., in this county; David, in Illinois; George, in Philadelphia; Annie, wife of Herman Snyder, in Williamsport, and John and Otis at home.
