Evelyn L. Goss 92, of Harrisburg, lovingly known as "Nana", died Saturday, June 6, 2015 at her home.
Mrs. Goss was born in Harrisburg and was the daughter of the late Otto and Elizabeth (Paul) Mumma. She was retired from the Pa. Dept. of Revenue, where she was a clerk. She was a member of the New Love in Christ Church. Evey devoted her life to serving others. She was an excellent seamstress and cook, who blessed her loved ones with delicious meals and baked goods and found great joy in spending time with family and friends.
Mrs. Goss was predeceased by her husband, Stanley Goss, her sisters, Dorothy L. Felty, Laura J. Goss and Faye E. Mullen and her brother, Herbert P. Mumma.
Mrs. Goss is survived by her son, Richard Lee (Paula) Mullen of Harrisburg; her grandchildren, Richard K. (Marilyn) Mullen of Harrisburg, Daryl L. (Anita) Mullen of Blandon, Elizabeth (Brian) Charles of Camp Hill and Heather MacMillan of Harrisburg; thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 2 P.M., at the Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 6011 Linglestown Rd., Harrisburg. Pastor Ross Reider will be officiating. Burial will be in Willow Grove Cemetery.
A Visitation will be held on Thursday, from 1-2 P.M., at the funeral home, prior to the service.
