Faye Elizabeth (Mumma) Mullen 89, of Harrisburg, went home to her Lord on Wednesday, January 7, 2015.
Faye was born in Harrisburg and was the daughter of the late Otto and Elizabeth (Paul) Mumma. A great cook and baker, Faye always had a meal or a slice of pie ready to welcome a visitor. She loved spending time with her family and tending her flowers. Faye was much loved by her family and leaves them with a beautiful legacy of heart-warming memories.
Faye was predeceased by her husband, Melvin E. Mullen, Sr.; her sisters, Dorothy Belle Felty and Laura Jean Goss; and, her brother, Herbert P. Mumma.
Faye is survived by her daughters, Patricia A. Seibert of Pensacola, Fla and Evelyn J. (Larry) Putt of Camp Hill; her sons, Melvin E. (Thelma) Mullen, Jr., of Duncannon, William P. Mullen of Harrisburg and Kenneth A. Mullen of Carlisle; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Evelyn L. Goss of Harrisburg.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 12, 2015, at 1 P.M., at the Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 6011 Linglestown Rd., Harrisburg. The Pastor Tom Willard will be officiating. Burial will be in Willow Grove Cemetery, Linglestown.
A Visitation will be held on Monday from 12 to 1 P.M., at the funeral home, prior to the service.
