Erma Frances Rinker, 84, of Woodstock, went to be with her Lord on Friday, August 13, 2021.
Erma was a loving and faithful Christian, wife, sister, daughter, and friend. She was born on October 7, 1936, at Columbia Furnace, the daughter of the late William R. Mumaw and Dora Estep Mumaw. She was a member of Community Mission Church of the Brethren.
Erma was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul Allen Rinker, four brothers, Everett, Landon, Olen, and Braden Mumaw and two sisters, Helen Mumaw and Orpha Ryman.
She is survived by three nephews, Dennis Ryman, Orville Ryman, and Ray Mumaw; three nieces, Pauline Minton, Linda Smoot, and Joyce Mumaw.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2021, 11:00 AM at Sunset View Memorial Gardens with Rev. Dale Bowers officiating. Friends may come by Valley Funeral Service on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, to sign the register book and pay their respects.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Blue Ridge Hospice.
