Lyman Mayfield
Lyman (Slim) Mayfield, 69, 240 Charles SE, died Sunday at 11:20 a.m. in
Trumbull Memorial Hospital following a heart attack.
Born May 2, 1903, in Kingswood, W. Va., he was the son of Isaiah Clark
and Elizabeth Weaver Mayfield. On Sept. 8, 1928 he married Azalean Viola
Canfield who survives.
He came to Warren 33 years ago from Clarksburg, W. Va. Until his
retirement in 1968 he had been employed 25 years at American Welding and Mfg. Co.
Surviving besides his wife are a daughter, Mrs Robert (Sally Ann) Mumma,
Boynton Beach, Fla.; two sons, Marty C., Girard, and Ronald L. of Warren; a
sister, Mrs. Lota Chipps, Morgantown, W. Va.; a brother, Charles Mayfield,
Canton, and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Robert H. Roberts
Memorial Home where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will
be in Crown Hill Burial Park, Vienna.
