Charles D. Muma, 79, of Gladwin, died Thursday, Feb. 5, 1998 at MidMichigan Medical Center-Gladwin. Born Oct. 10, 1918 in Roscommon County, he was the son of Harry and Flossie Good Muma. Charles married Irene Weldon, Oct. 13, 1948 in Chicago. He worked as a livestock dealer most of his life. He was a member of the Gladwin Assembly of God Church.
Besides his wife, Irene, he is survived three daughters, Linda Donn, and Rose and husband Scott Landskroener, all of Gladwin, Shirley and husband John Slagle of Oklahoma City, Okla.; three sons, Dale and wife Cindy, David and wife Jane, and Chris and wife Linda, all of Gladwin; one daughter-in-law, Ann Muma of Dodge City; four brothers, Stanley, Aaron, Harold, and Delmer, all of Gladwin; two sisters, Freda Kish, and Vera French, both of Gladwin. He was preceded in death by one son, Gene, March 6, 1994; four brothers; and one sister.
Services were held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Gladwin Assembly of God Church with Rev. Donald Potter officiating. Burial was in Highland Cemetery. Arrangements were in charge of Sisson Funeral Home, Gladwin. Gladwin County Record dated 2-11/1998 Column ? 4 Page ? 2.
