Mary E. Hoover, 73, of R.D. 1 Lock Haven died at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, 1991 at her home.
Born Feb. 23, 1918 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of Herman and Ruth Jenkins Mumma.
Mrs. Hoover was well known for her Raggedy Ann and Andy doll creations in the McElhattan area.
She worked for the former Sylvania Electric Company of Mill Hall and in the cafeterias of Castanea Elementary and Lock Haven High school
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas I. Hoover, and second husband, Roy R. Hoover. Her second husband died March 23, 197
Surviving are one son, Milford Thomas Hoover, Sr. of McElhattan and one daughter, Roberta Prince of Knox, Pa. one brother, Marcus Mumma of Mill Hall, and two sisters, Caroline Williams of Williamsport and Margurite Guthrie of Cogan Station; two grandchildren and one great-grandchil
