Julia K. Grove, 104, of 640 Oak Hill Ave., died Thursday morning at Avalon Manor.
Born in Sharpsburg, she was the daughter of Samuel and Frances Reichard Mumma Jr. She was the widow of Alva Dillon Grove.
She had been an active member in St. Paul's Protestant Church in Sharpsburg and was later an active member in St. John's in Hagerstown. She was also a member of Washington County Historical Society.
She is survived by one daughter, Miss Louise Grove.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Church with the Rev. Douglass M. Bailey and the Rev. Canon David C. Trimble officiating.
Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
The omission of flowers is requested.
Friends may call at the Albert Leaf Funeral Home in Sharpsburg this evening from 7 to 9 and may also call at the Hagerstown residence.
