WILLIAM W. MUMAW SR.
William W. Mumaw Sr., 63, House 6, Hollywood, retired miner, died Friday at 10:20 a.m. at Hazleton State General Hospital, after suffering a heart attack at his home.
He was born in Conyngham, Nov. 21, 1912, the son of the late Charles and Edith Wagner Mumaw, and spent his entire life in this area.
Surviving are his widow, the former Nettie Houseknecht, the following children: John, Drums; William Jr., Rock Glen; Mrs. Jean Ziegler, Hollywood; Mrs. David (Joan) Thomas, Conyngham; sixteen grandchildren and one great- grandchild. Also surviving is one sister, Mrs. Emma Cauley, Sandy Valley.
The funeral will be held Monday at 11 a.m. from the Krapf and Hughes Funeral Home with the Rev. Stacey Weaver officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Laurel Memorial Park. Friends may call Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
