"Mrs. Jacob Mumma
Mrs. Mabel M. Mumma, 79, of 2024 Main St., Rothsville, died at 1:45 a.m. today at Lancaster General Hospital. A resident of Rothsville for the last 60 years, she was a former elementary school teacher, having taught in Rothsville and Reinholds.
Mrs. Mumma was a member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Rothsville; Order of Eastern Star 499, Lititz; Senior Citizens, Lititz, a past secretary; Lititz auxiliary of the Lancaster General Hospital and Rabbit Hillers Senior Citizens, Rothsville.
She was a graduate of Millersville Normal School, now Millersville State College. Her husband, Jacob H. Mumma, died in 1964.
Born in Denver, she was a daughter of the late Morris and Lizzie Cramer Roppold.
Surviving are two daughters, Betty J., wife of Dr. Arthur S. Griswald, Lititz; and Annette R., wife of Robert F. Nation, Elizabethtown; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild."
