In the History and Biographical Cyclopaedia of Butler Co., OH, it states that "Barbara MUMMA was the first wife (of George Barnitz). She was the daughter of John MUMMA and Susan Bare. She bore her husband two children -- Charles S., born in 1843, died in 1847, and George Henry, born in 1848, still living (1882)."
Per the information on George Barnitz's tombstone, it states that there were 4 children born, 3 who died as infants.
