William J. "Junie" Mumma Jr., 72, of Middle Paxton Twp., died Saturday in Polyclinic Hospital.
He had been a machinist/welder for Conrail and a state fire warden; was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II; a life memeber of Dauphin-Middle Paxton Fire Company; and a member of Linglestown American Legion Post 272 and the Wormlesburg VFW post.
Surviving are his wife, Alforretta M. Lowe Mumma; two daughters, Ruth M. Wilt and Linda k. Horst, both of Duncannon; four sons, Marlin R. of Crystal Lake, Ill., William J., III and Wayne E., both of Harrisburg, and Gary R. of Duncannon; a sister, Dauris Donmoyer of Harrisburg; five brothers, Albert and Kenneth, both of Dauphin, Ehrman of Hummelstown, Earl of Harrisburg and Kermit of Linglestown; 15 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchldren.
Services will be held at noon Wednesday in Geigle Funeral Home, Susquehanna Twp. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemtery.
Viewing will be from 10. a.m. to noon Wednesday in the funeral .......[article cut off]
