Kathleen Mumaw Hoffman, 81, of Toms Brook passed away Friday, August 6, 2021, at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 14 at 4:00 p.m. at Valley Funeral Service in Edinburg. Pastor Freddie Helsley will officiate.
Mrs. Hoffman was born September 13, 1939, in Woodstock, daughter of the late Byrd A. Mumaw and Cleta Irene Pence Mumaw. She formerly worked at Strasburg Manufacturing and was a member of Maurertown Brethren Church and the Strasburg Moose Lodge. She was preceded in death by one son, James Alan Hoffman; four sisters, Hazel Wright, Mable Bergeron, Betty Copenhaver and Dorothy Kibler; and four brothers, Jack Pence, Charles C. Mumaw, Byrd A. Mumaw Jr., and Stanley Mumaw.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Lynn Hoffman of Edinburg, and Kevin Ray Hoffman of Toms Brook, one daughter, Teresa Marie Baker of Texas, and one sister, Lena Hollar of Toms Brook; four grandchildren, Makalya Hoffman, Regan Hoffman, Jeremiah Ferguson, and Victoria Zeese; three great-grandchildren, Allison Zeese, Colton Zeese, and Isaac Ferguson.
