Dorothy Irene Kibler (1927-2010)

Dorothy Irene Kibler, 83, formerly of Edinburg, died Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 436 Muscadine Trail, Baskerville, VA 23915.
The funeral will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. at Union Forge Untied Methodist Church by Pastor Jason Hay. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Kibler was born August 23, 1927 in Edinburg, daughter of the late Byrd and Cleda Pence Mumaw. She was a nurse's aide. She was a member of Union Forge United Methodist Church, Shenandoah County Fair Association and the Farm Bureau.
She was the wife of the late Berlin Kibler.
Surviving are a son, Richard (Dickie) Bowman of Baskerville, two sisters, Kathleen Hoffman and Lena Hollar, both of Toms Brook; two brothers, Byrd Mumaw of Edinburg, and Stanley Mumaw of Woodstock; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Richard Bowman, Jr., Brian Bowman, Sam Heishman, Jack Heishman, Robert Mumaw, and Harvey Earnhart.
The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 8 p.m. at Union Forge United Methodist Church.

Arrangements are being handled by Valley Funeral Service, Bowmans Crossing.
